A Hyundai hybrid is no kind of performance vehicle so I was mostly buying on: price, comfort, and tread life. This is what I landed on.
They’re supposed to be delivered to a local shop tomorrow, I spoke to the manager a while back and he said to confirm delivery and we can schedule installation once that’s done. He made it seem like if I could be there when the shop opens on a designated day, they could knock it out immediately.

We put these on my wife’s old Impreza. Was targeting the General Altimax RT43 as she doesn’t need something sporty but they weren’t available locally at the time. They’re pretty solid for a UHPAS tire with some snow capability.

I think those are what I’ve got on my mustang. So far I’ve found them to be pretty good . I don’t think I’ve used them in any real winter conditions though.

I had these on my C30. I think I got about 30k out of them before they were toast. I drove like I was trying to get away from something, and the car was lowered with a bit of camber, so you’ll probably do much better. They were among the best tires I have had.

Just out of curiosity, was the tire shop not willing to work with you on price or just wouldn’t go as low as tire rack? I’ve found that there’s a fair amount of mark up on tires where we live and a good shop, wants to keep you around, will get fairly competitive. It also goes towards their volume from their wholesaler.

I didn’t even check what the garage I’m getting my tires installed at could do on price. I live in DC, so they probably can’t compete but are happy to have a low maintenance customer.
